Ramadan promotion packaging, where the pack is the whole advert

On a Ramadan shelf the pack has about two seconds and no media budget behind it.

The challenge

Packaging is the only medium where the advert and the product are the same object. A Ramadan promotion has to signal a saving instantly, hold festive relevance, and still look like the brand a shopper already trusts — on a crowded shelf, at arm's length.

What we did

  • Made the saving the loudest element on the pack, because a promotion nobody notices at two metres is not a promotion.
  • Used festive geometry and warm seasonal colour to earn Ramadan relevance without abandoning the everyday brand equity.
  • Carried the system across both Cooking Oil and VTF Banaspati so the promotion reads as a range, not a one-off.
  • Kept the bilingual pack copy and product credentials intact underneath the promotional layer, since the trust cues are why the shopper reaches for it at all.

Outcome

What changed.

Qualitative where we don't yet have the client's clearance to publish figures. We'd rather say less than overstate.
