A streetwear store where Sold Out is the point, not an error

Art-infused fashion that re-merchandises every few weeks. The shop had to survive constant change without a redesign each time.

The challenge

A drop brand does not launch a store and run it. It sells out on purpose, then does it again in a month. Most e-commerce design assumes stable inventory and treats an empty shelf as a failure state to hide.

What we did

  • Treated Sold Out as a desirable state rather than a broken one. On a drop brand the scarcity is the marketing, so the badge system makes a sold-out piece read as proof rather than disappointment.
  • Built the grid for instant scanning — quick add to cart, honest On Sale and Sold Out states, clear PKR pricing.
  • Designed product pages mobile-first with large imagery and only the details that decide a purchase: fit, fabric weight, size.
  • Used progressive disclosure so care, fabric and shipping notes are one tap away rather than crowding a small screen.
  • Made the shop re-merchandisable: a new capsule is new content in the same template, not a new build.

Outcome

What changed.

Qualitative where we don't yet have the client's clearance to publish figures. We'd rather say less than overstate.
