The challenge

Beauty is the most visually competitive category there is, and Gulf audiences see international brands with international budgets. Localisation that reads as translation is worse than none — it signals an outsider.

What we did

  • Produced the creative in Arabic from the outset, so type, layout and rhythm are designed right-to-left rather than retrofitted.
  • Built a soft pink world consistent enough to be recognised in a scroll before the logo is read.
  • Used animation for texture and application — how a product feels is the actual purchase driver, and stills cannot carry it.
  • Integrated Tabby buy-now-pay-later into the creative, because payment flexibility is a genuine conversion lever in this market.
  • Ran retail and lifestyle contexts together, tying the Riyadh boulevard presence to the products.
